Sometimes I ask myself: was it really a good idea to go on the countryside? Today I was very proud because my Daily Paintings Calender is on sale in Bristol now. I wanted to celebrate, but then it knocked at the door and a couple asked for my neighbour, the pastor, because they lost everything and needed help. I was deflated and tried to find somebody to initiate something for them. And I was thankful, because they reminded me in modesty. Today I passed with my car a gigantic truck and a huge stone flew directly in my windscreen. It made a horrible noise and the glass was destroyed but that’s all.
