I should have known … 1st potential owners for the puppy I take care for and I bought the wrong food. You can’t imagine the caustic gases this little dog farts. Would it be conspicuous when they visit her and I pull gas masks on them? Daily Painting about air 17 August 2010, 7:50 pm I’m the prisoner of my gases, watercolour on drawing and adhesive tape, 19 x 23 cm
A bit tired today. One of the dogs is ill and kept me awake all night long. So I tried to have a quiet day with just a little bit of recreative drawing. But each time I got myself to work, the life in all its colours came and had its own plans. Daily Painting about coloured drawings 31 March 2010, 6:29 pm When the drawing meets the life in all its colours, ink, washed, 22,3 x 25 cm
Uh oh, half of the week gone and half of the paper I bought on monday too. Perhaps I should consult a drug-counselling service? I’m an addict, I’m afraid. Perhaps they mix the same in colours as in cigarettes. At least I don’t smoke. Daily Painting about Obsession 24 February 2010, 7:22 pm Who snacks too long from the paintbox, Pencil on washed ink, finished with oil chalk, 24 x 18 cm
Valentine’s Day! Everybody is very upset (especially the flower shops) but I think it’s a day to give, not to receive. And if you watch the rutting deers, you will see that they forget everything but love: food, snow, cold, financial crisis. So Daily Painting is about deers in love 14 February 2010, 7:17 pm Happy Valentine, watercolour drawing, 24 x 21 cm
Weekend! All the happy people from the town come to enjoy the last rest of the melting snow in the Eifel. But we would be happy to get rid of it. Even the owls are sitting in the trees and complain about the slender fare. Daily Painting about the joy of snow 7 February 2010, 7:16 pm A glimpse on my house of today, watercolour drawing, 25 x 22 cm
Perhaps frosty winter is a bad time to think about a model for my nude painting class, but I have to, because the 1st course starts end of the month and today my model told me she has no time. Feels anybody out there called upon? Gender and age don’t matter. Daily Painting about models 8 January 2010, 7:41 pm In suspense for the model, Pencil and Ink, washed, 30 x 21 cm
This morning I was told that the grave of my father was desecreated. Not for the first time. Everybody is very kind but nobody knows what to do. But I remember the old myth of the copper serpent and erect it against the evil. Daily Painting about the copper serpent 3 January 2010, 8:07 pm The myth of the copper serpent, watercolour and pencil, 21 x 29,7 cm
Since lunchtime it snows. The world looks like a magnificent black and white drawing with unbelievable fine lines, sweeping curves and reluctant colours. I hope my silverpoint is able to transport these structures. Daily Painting about delicacy 18 December 2009, 7:52 pm The noble society, silverpoint and watercolour, 22 x 25 cm
Every year it’s the same: in December you are flooded with blinky lights, fake Father Christmasses and every kind of intolerability you can imagine. Daily Painting about an angel that offers you a bottomless box to hide in 7 December 2009, 7:45 pm The everyday angel-nuisance, watercolour and pencil, 30 x 20,5 cm
Today one of my guides, in my eyes the best drawer and sculptorer since Michelange died: Alfred Hrdlicka. I’m very sad, his power will live on in his work. Daily Painting about energy potential 6 December 2009, 8:17 pm Dozens of energy potential, ink and watercolour, 25 x 23 cm
