Today was the funeral of the great litho printer Henner Kätelhön in Wamel. Who gives greatness with knowing hands, leaves a beloved mark. Daily painting about the silence of the grave. For everybody who lost an important soul in these days.

Last night the great art printer Henner Kätelhön in Wamel closed his eyes forever. I’ll miss his knowledge and his humour. As appreciation for the work of Henner Kätelhön a lithography I did in 1981 that he printed from a stone: La Lupa

Today I transfered my art in the kitchen and cooked for Frank Zimmermann, who organised the financial affairs of us buying the house. I used my spoon as a brush and you get as a daily painting my menu proposal: Old town with little river

I’m very sad, the best litho printer I ever met, Henner Kätelhön, is terminally ill and we fear for his life. I learned everything from him. With a compliment to Henner Kätelhön. I hope a painting a day will keep the death away
