Today I was in Belgium in a shop and the owner lead me in his backyard where he had a wonderful Arabian stud to sell. And this horse was so sensible, charming and tender that I instantly wanted to take it with me! What a dream to race against the wind on top of this animal! Such a pity I can’t even ride! Daily Painting about horses 29 June 2010, 5:40 pm Who wants to outrun the wind, watercolour on cardboard, 16 x 24,5 cm
Summit in Toronto. How comes that I don’t believe all these well sounding words? How comes I always have the feeling of watching a perfectly directed production of The United Politics Theater Company? The promises are rich, but the realisation is sparse. Daily Painting about summit 27 June 2010, 7:58 pm That’s the limit (the summit), watercolour, 16 x 21 cm
I’m not mad about football, but in each world cup Germany and England play against each other.and now it’s happening. I hate it. I can’t decide which team I support. This is the time of the cherries. And this is not only a hint for ripe fruits but it’s also a song from the french revolution about the power you need going your own way and never giving up. And it is still one of my favourite places in Cologne too. Daily Painting about autonomy 23 June 2010, 7:42 pm Time of cherries, ink and watercolour, 20 x 21 cm
