Today was the funeral of the great litho printer Henner Kätelhön in Wamel. Who gives greatness with knowing hands, leaves a beloved mark. Daily painting about the silence of the grave. For everybody who lost an important soul in these days.

Last night the great art printer Henner Kätelhön in Wamel closed his eyes forever. I’ll miss his knowledge and his humour. As appreciation for the work of Henner Kätelhön a lithography I did in 1981 that he printed from a stone: La Lupa

Today I was bitten by 2 ticks! It’s definitely dangerous walking in the woods in these days. When I soon sign my paintings “Donald Duck”, you know why. Today’s daily painting is about the waves of wild dreams.

The unique light here in the Eifel encourages me every day to examine a new field between figure and abstract. A visual adventure park! So the Daily painting is about the bouquet of possibilities and every day I pick my favourite flower
