Since weeks we have snow. Meanwhile it sucks and tonight more snow is bound to come. But after it will melt – finally! I don’t want to be ungrateful, the snow gave me such beautiful sights. And so the Daily Painting is a farewell gift to the snow: take it and leave, but LEAVE!

Last Day of carnival in Cologne and the day of my favourite procession in Ehrenfeld. As usual I was in front of the „Zeit der Kirschen“. Did you see me? Did you recognise me? As a little hint the Daily Painting blows the costume I did NOT have!

Valentine’s Day! Everybody is very upset (especially the flower shops) but I think it’s a day to give, not to receive. And if you watch the rutting deers, you will see that they forget everything but love: food, snow, cold, financial crisis. So Daily Painting is about deers in love
