Right in the middle of the heart, watercolour, 20 x 21 cm
A horrible thunderstorm washed away the exhibition “Kunst im Fluss” in Schleiden. I’m horrified. So much work, so much hope, so much passion, destroyed in some minutes. There was a metres high wave of water and that even washed away steel sculptures of hundreds of kilos. I feel with the people who lost their existence in the highwater. It was “only” art, but I fought so much, gave so much. Daily Painting about misery

Naturgewalt da sind wir machtlos. Trotzdem weitere neue Ideen verwirklichen. Nicht aufgeben

Das Bild erinnert mich an ein Schlachtfeld, gefühlt ist es das bestimmt auch wenn dieses Mal höhere Gewalten verantwortlich waren.
