A german museum’s director said, we shouldn’t make such a fuss about Ai Weiwei. Ai Weiwei’s just a popstar and there are 100s of other artists suffering. I don’t know what upsets me more, that he leaves Ai to his fate or that he never ever would raise his voice for one of the 100s suffering artists. Daily Painting about friends

Puuh – bei dem Bild lief es mir im ersten Moment kalt den Rücken runter. Eine Assoziation eines menschenfressenden Monsters kam in mir auf – ein ganz klein wenig erinnert es mich auch an eine Gestalt aus Boschs “Hölle” …
